A little about me
After leaving school, I followed my creative instincts to art college, though life had a few chapters to write before I found my way fully back to it. I spent 20 wonderful years as a teacher, including 5 as a headteacher, guiding, inspiring, and shaping young minds. Now, I’ve turned that same passion and energy toward creating art that brings joy, colour, and character into everyday life.
I’m happiest outdoors, soaking up inspiration from nature, often accompanied by my loyal black German Shepherd, Nel. Whether it’s the tiny bees, the flying crows, or the timid mouse, the natural world finds its way into my work.
My art is rooted in nature with expressive ink and delicate watercolour washes, blending freedom with detail. I create original, one-of-a-kind canvases as well as high-quality prints from my watercolour pieces. Beyond the canvas, my designs can also live on mugs, coasters, magnets, keyrings, and more, bringing a little piece of art into the everyday.
For me, creating isn’t just what I do. . . it’s who I am 😘
